Longhorn Baja is a student engineering team at UT Austin that designs, builds, and races an off-road vehicle for the Baja SAE competition. The team also promotes hands-on learning, technical excellence, and collaboration while developing industry-ready engineering skills.
Marshalling Opportunities
Longhorn Baja has partnered with WEC to have members marshal at the COTA Race in September, giving members a close-up experience with motorsports in action. Additionally, Longhorn Baja supports members in achieving their marshalling licenses, paving the road for more marshalling opportunities and close access to motorsports in the future.
Volunteering Opportunities
Longhorn Baja has previously volunteered at the SRO GTR Race at the Circuit of the Americas, allowing members to meet different racing teams and get involved in motorsports.

Plant Tours
Longhorn Baja has been invited by companies to see their headquarters of operation, allowing members to see engineering in the field.
